  3. Maynard is now shipping MaynStream V3.1 of its award winning MaynStream
  4. backup software.  Maynstream V3.1 has significant features and major
  5. advances in network data backup.  Some of these new features follow:

  7. * Enhanced support for viewing servers and volumes on Novell NetWare
  8.   Lans,

  10. * Dynamic login/logout of NetWare servers for completely secured
  11.   unattended operations,
  12.  
  13. * Full support of Novell NetWare/386 version 3.11 which includes
  14.   handling of NetWare 386 bindery files, all directory and file
  15.   attributes, all directory and file trustees, and Apple File
  16.   Protocol (AFP) folders and files,
  17.  
  18. * Dramatically improved restore speeds using Maynard's Fast File
  19.   Restore (FFR) feature,
  20.  
  21. * The ability to backup remote workstations on NetBIOS based as well
  22.   as IPX based networks,
  23.  
  24. * Support for file grooming whereby files which have not been accessed
  25.   in a user specified amount of time are automatically written to tape
  26.   and removed from the network.

  30. The MaynStream V3.1 software upgrade kit is now available to current
  31. customers.  Customers who wish to upgrade from their current version
  32. to the new V3.1 should telephone the Maynard Sales Office to order
  33. the upgrade.  The cost of the upgrade is $99.  Those customers who 
  34. purchased on or after April 1, 1991, will receive a free software
  35. upgrade once proof-of-purchase is received by Maynard's Sales Dept.
